SOP – Digital Marketing Executive 

Role Summary

This role is responsible for:

  • Technical audits (3 per day)

  • Graphics & Ui Ux execution

  • Research and content planning

  • Client communication

  • Reporting and documentation


Daily Mandatory Tasks (Applicable Every Day)

The following tasks are compulsory each day:

  • Complete 3 technical audits

  • Respond to client messages within 30–60 minutes

  • Update task status in CRM/Sheet

  • Submit end-of-day (EOD) report

 


Weekly Execution Structure

Day 1 – Audit, Research, and Content Planning

Technical Audits

  • Complete 3 audits

Research Work

  • Conduct research for assigned clients:

    • 2–3 competitors per client

    • Industry trends

    • Content gaps

Content Planning (Start)

  • Begin monthly social media calendar

  • Define:

    • Content themes

    • Content buckets (educational, promotional, reels, etc.)

Client Communication

  • Connect with clients to collect:

    • Offers

    • Business updates

    • Content requirements

 



Day 2 – Audit and Content Calendar Creation

Technical Audits

  • Complete 3 audits

Content Calendar Creation

  • Prepare detailed social media calendar:

    • Post dates

    • Content ideas

    • Caption drafts

    • Hashtags

    • Creative references

Research Support

  • Add keyword ideas and trending topics

Client Coordination

  • Share draft calendar (if required)

  • Collect feedback

 



Day 3 – Audit and Graphics Execution

Technical Audits

  • Complete 3 audits

Graphics Work

  • Design creatives based on:

    • Approved content calendar

    • Ad requirements

Quality Check

  • Ensure:

    • Brand consistency

    • Content accuracy

    • Correct platform sizes and formats

 




Day 4 – Audit, Graphics, and Client Follow-ups

Technical Audits

  • Complete 3 audits

Graphics Work

  • Complete pending creatives

Client Follow-ups

  • Follow up for:

    • Approvals

    • Pending inputs

    • Feedback

Documentation

  • Maintain client-wise notes:

    • Requirements

    • Revisions

    • Preferences

 



Day 5 – Audit and Reporting

  • Complete 3 audits

Weekly Reporting

  • Prepare summary:

    • Tasks completed

    • Deliverables submitted

    • Pending items

Basic Performance Check

  • Review:

    • Social media engagement

    • Content performance trends

 



Day 6 – Audit, Learning, and Process Improvement

Technical Audits

  • Complete 3 audits

Learning and Development

  • Complete assigned courses

  • Apply learnings to:

    • Design quality

    • Content improvement

Process Improvement

  • Identify:

    • Efficiency improvements

    • Quality enhancements

End-of-Day Report Format
